Tiny chibi post again today, just to place a massively updated version of the Spreadsheet I previously made for Dungeon Crawl’s 0.8 version.
Naturally, with considerable upgrades to account for the changes inherent in 0.10. Most notably, now includes an exhaustive chart detailing all of the races aptitudes that took me ages.

All Racial Base Stats, XP Rates, Powers etc. listed.
All Racial Aptitudes in an exhaustive chart
Class benefits discussed along with some of my opinions of their usage and difficulties.
All of the worshippable gods and the benefits given, along with some of my opinions on them.
It’s in Excel 2003 format, but I’m sure newer versions can convert it forwards as you require (in fact, I know from my work in the office that 2007 converts forwards fine). Excuse the crappy screencaps, I’m rather tired right now.
All of the information should be correct (and most of it has been checked with the knowledge bots), but mistakes happen (and I’m not a developer!), so don’t hesitate to leave a comment if you spot something amiss.
That’s all for now, enjoy!
I just looked at the file with Gnumeric and it was full of Garbage. Please do not use Wingdings, use Unicode Characters.
Eh, I didn’t even know what Gnumeric was, had to look it up. I’ve never really understood these clone versions when I’m sure you can get a real cheap-ass copy of Office 2k3 somewhere, its ancient these days (as for me, well, I got a great discount from work years ago).
But in any case, not really my fault if the program doesn’t support Webdings, is it? It’s a very common font, and it was the easiest way for me to type all of the gazillions of symbols required for the database. Frankly, I don’t think there were enough different diamond type shapes otherwise (there’s only the two in Unicode, I think). Moreover, even if there were the replacements, that was easily the most time-intensive part of the sheet, and replacing it all again for a minor bugfix is vastly uneconomical. Sorry.
Not everyone uses Windows, you know? Also, search-replace exists.
Then emulate it. 😛
Microsoft is surely evil, but frankly, its not worth suffering with Linux in my opinion. You lose out on too many good games and applications. Better the devil you know, and all that.
Or if, gods forbid, you’re speaking of the forbidden Mac, put that fancy calculator in the trash right now and buy a proper clunker of a machine. 😀
Search Replace exists, yes. It’s still a long process to change everything over even including its usage. Primarily due to reformatting.
Tell you what, though, there will be a version III coming out soon; what I can do easier is make a PDF version of each of the pages if you’d like. This will ensure its compatibility, right?
